Firm Overview
The McLarty Pope Firm was founded by Mary Alice McLarty & Bryan Pope. Ms. McLarty and Mr. Pope have collectively practiced law for over 40 years, and receives referrals from other attorneys throughout the country. Ms. McLarty is the current Vice-President of the American Association for Justice (AAJ, formerly known at ATLA). Mr. Pope is the President-Elect of the Dallas Trial Lawyers. They both are on the Board of the Texas Trial Lawyers.
McLarty Pope is conveniently located in the Uptown district of Dallas, and just a short drive from downtown Dallas. The lawyers of The McLarty Pope Firm are admitted to practice and actively try and argue cases in Texas state and federal courts. The firm's practice is focused on cases involving serious injuries in the areas of Trucking Accidents, Construction Accidents, Automobile Accidents, Products Liability, Sexual Assaults, School Hazing Incidents, Premises Liability, Dangerous Drugs and victims of RSD or CRPS.
Ms. McLarty concentrates her practice on catastrophic injury cases, including Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy ("RSD" or "CRPS"), injuries and brain injuries and Drug cases. Mr. Pope focuses his practice on representing victims of automobile accidents, trucking accidents and construction accidents as well as lawsuits against drunk drivers and the bars or restaurants that over serve them.
The firm's attorneys have published numerous articles and papers on a wide variety of legal issues. The firm is also proud of the positions its members have held in the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, including seats on the boards of directors of each organization. In addition, Mary Alice McLarty was the 2004 President of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.
